Marketing Notifications
The Marketing Notifications page is where you manage all visual notification campaigns displayed through the Smart Assistant avatar. These notifications are designed to capture user attention subtly and effectively, allowing brands to highlight promotions, key messages, or product updates as part of the browsing experience.
Marketing Notifications help increase visibility, guide users toward strategic actions, and transform the Smart Assistant into a dynamic communication touchpoint available across the entire site.
They combine high impact with low disruption, making them one of the most efficient on-site engagement tools.
Period selection and filters
At the top of the page, you can select the Time Range you want to analyze. The available options are Last 24 hours, Last week, Last month, Last year, or a Custom range.
To refine your search, use the Filter panel to focus on specific parameters:
- Status: active or inactive campaigns
- Start date: filter campaigns starting on or after a specific date
- End date: filter campaigns ending on or before a specific date
Click Apply to update results or Reset to clear all filters.

- Name: campaign name
- Message: text displayed in the Smart Assistant avatar
- Content: internal message provided to Smart Assistant to generate the user-facing answer
- Start date: date when the campaign begins

Viewing a notification
To view full campaign details, click its Name in the table or use the View icon in the Actions column.
From the detail view, you can navigate to Edit campaign or return to the list.
Editing a notification
You can edit an existing campaign by:
- Clicking Edit from the Actions column, or
- Opening the campaign and clicking Edit campaign in the detail view
All fields in the campaign can be updated, including:
- Message
- Content
- Dates
- Active status
Click Save to apply changes.
Activating or Deactivating a notification
Campaigns can be activated or deactivated in two ways:
- Using the Status switch in the campaigns table
- Using the Active switch inside the edit view
To be visible, a campaign must:
- Be Active
- Have today’s date within its start/end period
If multiple campaigns satisfy these conditions, one will be selected at random and displayed to the user.
Deactivated campaigns remain stored and editable but will not appear on-site.
Duplicating a notification
To create a copy of an existing campaign, click the Duplicate icon in the Actions column.
This creates a new campaign with:
- The same message (with a suffix)
- Same internal content
- Same dates
- Same status (set to inactive, allowing safe editing)
You can immediately rename or update the duplicated campaign before activation.
Deleting a notification
To remove a campaign permanently, click the Delete icon from the Actions column.
A confirmation alert ensures you do not delete a campaign by mistake.
Notes and Recommendations
- A campaign must be active and fall within its start and end dates to be visible. If more than one campaign satisfies these conditions, the Smart Assistant shows one at random.
- Keep messages short, clear, and easy to understand at a glance. Simplicity leads to higher engagement.
- Use segmentation and scheduling wisely to avoid message fatigue. Well-timed campaigns perform better than continuous messaging.
- After clicking a notification, Smart Assistant will fetch content categorized as Promotions, so keep these documents accurate and up to date.
- Allow time for changes to propagate. Newly activated or edited campaigns may take a short while to appear.
