Change Password

The Password tab allows users to update their credentials safely, ensuring secure access to the platform and compliance with organizational security standards.

The Change Password section enables users to securely update their account credentials. Maintaining a strong and up-to-date password is essential for protecting sensitive information and preventing unauthorized access to the platform.

This feature is available for all user roles and ensures credentials are changed safely, following system encryption and security policies.

Password Input Field

FieldDescription
New PasswordField to enter the new password. The system validates minimum security requirements before allowing the update.

Upon clicking Update Password, the system processes the request securely and displays a confirmation message upon success.

Password Requirements

To ensure security, the new password must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 8 characters in length
  • Include at least one uppercase letter
  • Include at least one lowercase letter
  • Include at least one number
  • Include at least one special character (e.g., !@#$%&*)

If any of these conditions are not met, the system will show a validation message below the input field.

Error Handling

If the password change fails, the system shows one of the following error messages:

Invalid FormatPassword does not meet required complexity rules.
Empty FieldThe password field cannot be left blank.
Server ErrorA temporary issue prevented saving the new password — try again later.

When errors occur, the field is highlighted and the user is prompted to correct it before retrying.
