Usizy cookies and privacy management
The cookies needed for Size Adviser to function are technical cookies that do not require to be included in your cookies policy, and visitors do not need to accept your policy to be able to use Size Advisor. Our service is part of the essential services needed for your website to function correctly, similar to functionalities such as “Size chart display, “Product images display”, “Add to cart”, “Buy now”, “Add product to favourite”, “Pay by credit card”…
The only information stored by our cookies is an anonymous token value.
Our API does not store personal data from end users, and Usizy does not ask its users for any such information at any point.
To make sure you are covered legally for the use of our product, it is only necessary to include a description of our service in your global cookie policy, but it is not necessary for users to accept the policy explicitely for them to use the service.
Our cookies are not marketing cookies, user behavior analysis cookies, user functionality customization cookies, (…) and should not be grouped with said cookies.
Blocking the use of our product has a very negative impact on results. Being able to perform certain functions without accepting cookies but blocking Size Adviser, may reduce users’ confidence to choose the correct size, and increases the probability of returns and their associated costs, logistics operations…
Usizy processes IP addresses to provide statistics and metrics per country, and for our size recommendation service, without storing the IP information in our system.
The anonymous data collected from our cookies is stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ireland, and the data is never sent out of the EU. Amazon Web Services (AWS) meets all privacy and security requirements in the EU.
Usizy complies with all personal data protection legislations worldwide.
The sessions from product pages are registered whether visitors use Size Adviser or not, as Size Adviser must be displayed on product pages first, before it can be used.
